Music 
Biography 
Anam Cara was formed in late 2002 by Octavio Fernandez in hopes to start something new that would stir up the music scene. Since then the band has gone through several members in trying to find just the right combination of personalities and writing styles. In early 2004 the band signed on with Strike First Records, the side label to Facedown Records, and put out an EP of their earlier work. After a national tour including an appearance at Cornerstone, the band decided to come home to write all new material that would challenge themselves and get the attention of the national music scene. With the new line up, Anam Cara has taken their established style and pushed it even further.



With their music already setting them apart from most, their live show is what really makes them shine. The bands presence and energy are something that always leaves people wanting more. Anam Cara is now planning national tours for 2005 and until then, are playing out around the South Eastern States
